Tuesday night's Mega Millions lottery drawing has yielded no jackpot winner for the $90 million grand prize. With no one hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number in Mega Millions lottery , Friday night's drawing will be worth an estimated $96 million for a single winner. The cash option will be an estimated $76 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 drawing were 20, 27, 28, 58, 59 with Mega Ball number 25 and Megaplier X3. No one won the Mega Millions jackpot in the past 669 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.

Although the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was only one second prize winning ticket from Tuesday night's drawing, matching the first 5 lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in won $250,000 cash each.

Additional prizes won Tuesday evening included 9 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Also, 195 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $150. Other prizes won included 540 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $150.

With 9 different prize levels, there were a total of 823,480 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players in prize winnings. Approximately 15% is used to as retailer commissions and lottery operating costs. Around 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the participating states. Mega Millions game uses a 5/75+1/46 matrix to randomly pick winning numbers. Each play costs $1.
