No jackpot winning ticket sold. Powerball jackpot rises to $53 million

The Powerball lottery jackpot increased because no player matched all six numbers from Saturday night's $48 million drawing. The next jackpot rised to $53 million for Monday night's drawing. The cash option stands at a projected $37 million. The numbers drawn Saturday night, January 15th, 2022 were 03, 18, 37, 51, 59 and Powerball number was 13. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 83 draws since Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in , matched all six numbers for a $31.00 million top prize.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. 13 third prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. These included 10 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 229 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 85 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 632 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 225 additional players not only matched 3+1, and also chose the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine different ways to win, the Saturday night's drawing generated 555,140 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a pari-mutuel jackpot game.
