One ticket bought in Virgin Islands won 365,000,000 Powerball jackpot in Wednesday night's drawing

One single player has won the grand prize from the most recent Massachusetts Powerball lottery drawing. Lottery officials said the winning ticket from Wednesday night's drawing - worth 365,000,000 - was purchased in Virgin Islands. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, June 29th, 2022 were 08, 40, 49, 58, 63 with Power Ball number 14. The jackpot winner will now have to determine to either take the 29-year, 30-installment annuity, or the one time cash lump-sum in the amount of $207.5 million before Uncle Sam's share is extracted. The winning ticket holder is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a safe place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
