Without a grand prize winner in the latest drawing, the Mega Millions multistate lottery game has rolled over its grand prize to $120,000,000 for Friday night's drawing. The cash option will be a projected $$55.8 million. No one hit all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $97,000,000 grand prize Tuesday. The next Mega Millions drawing will be at 10:59 PM Friday night. The numbers from Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 drawing were 34, 43, 51, 52, 69 with Mega Ball number 25 and Megaplier 4.

Even though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were 2 tickets that correctly matched the first 5 lotto numbers and won the second prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) bought in KS,NY, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

In addition, 5 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional winners Tuesday night included 277 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $150. There were 794 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $150.

With nine prize tiers, there were 1,292,862 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. sold in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. To play Mega Millions, choose 5 numbers from 1 to 56 and select one Mega Ball number from a set of 15. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the original prizes 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize starts at 12 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 26 equal annual installments.
