The grand prize in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery game continues to climb exciting players all across the country. Because no one correctly hit all five lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number in Tuesday's drawing the jackpot will grow to $182,000,000! The cash option will be an estimated $$82.1 million. The winning numbers from Friday, August 8th, 2025 drawing were 02, 06, 08, 14, 49 with Mega Ball 12 and Megaplier .

While the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There was a single second prize winning ticket from Friday night's drawing, matching all five white ball numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The 1 lucky ticket(s) purchased in CA, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Additional prizes won Friday evening included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Friday evening included 237 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $150. 635 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.

With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 447,228 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, August 8th, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record highest jackpot of $656 million in North American lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Each play costs $1.
