Tuesday's Mega Millions game jackpot leaped to $619,000,000, since nobody matched all 6 winning numbers drawn Friday night. The cash option for Tuesday will be a projected $$297.7 million. Friday's $579,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The winning numbers from Friday, December 6th, 2024 drawing were 16-21-33-39-45 with Mega Ball 24 and Megaplier X2. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 25 draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in TX, matched all six numbers for a $800 million top prize.

Though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There were a total of 22 third prize winning tickets. These included 22 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Other winners Friday evening included 579 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $150. There were 1301 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $150.

Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 56 then select one Mega Ball number from 1 to 15. Each play costs $1.
