The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing soars to 429,000,000

With no winner in the last draw, the Mega Millions game grand prize will be worth a projected 429,000,000 (cash option $233.6 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Friday. The amount rolled over because no one hit all five white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number to win the 400,000,000 jackpot Tuesday night. The winning numbers from Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 drawing were 14, 22, 48, 58, 68 with Mega Ball number 06 and Megaplier X2. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 955 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.

Though the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. A total of 23 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 23 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 501 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $150. Other prizes won included 1340 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $150.

With 9 different prize levels, there were 2,084,982 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 drawing.
