MA Mega Millions lottery News and Payout for Friday, January 24th, 2025 Drawing

The grand prize in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery drawing rolled up to $44,000,000 for the Tuesday drawing. The cash value stands at an estimated $$19.5 million up for grab. None of the tickets sold for Friday's $28,000,000 drawing matched 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, January 24th, 2025 were 08-12-43-52-62 with Mega Ball number 18 and Megaplier 2.

While the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There were a total of 7 third prize winners. Among them, 7 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Other prizes won Friday evening included 141 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $150. There were 431 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $150.

With nine different prize tiers, there were a total of 717,470 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, January 24th, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. To play Mega Millions, select 5 numbers from 1 to 56 then choose 1 Mega Ball number from 1 to 15. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at 12 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 26 equal yearly installments. Winners may choose one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
