The estimated jackpot for Tuesday night's drawing was $44,000,000. According to Mega Millions, no one hit every number and the grand prize moved to a projected $59,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$26.5 million. The numbers from Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 drawing were 10, 19, 31, 47, 56 with Mega Ball number 06 and Megaplier X5.

Although the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were a total of 9 third prize winning tickets. Among them, 9 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Additional prizes won Tuesday evening included 186 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $150. Other prizes won included 514 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $150.

With nine different prize tiers, there were 775,520 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions game is played in 43 states and D.C. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the winnings 2 to 5 times except jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot starts at $12 million. Its annuity option is paid in 26 equal annual payments. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout instead.
