No jackpot ticket sold last night. Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot builds to $56 million

The Mega Millions multi-state lottery grand prize increased to $56 million (lump-sum cash payout $38.3 million) Tuesday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $45 million drawing, lottery officials said. The numbers drawn Friday night, June 4th, 2021 were 04, 30, 34, 41, 64 and the Mega Ball was 08, Megaplier was 3. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 796 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.

Though the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. 7 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. Among them, 7 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

In addition, 218 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $150. Other prizes won included 678 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $150.

With nine prize tiers, there were 1,123,362 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, June 4th, 2021 drawing.

Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a shared jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original prizes 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize starts at $12 million. The annuity option is paid in 26 equal yearly installments. Winners can select one time lump sum cash payout instead.
