Massive Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Tuesday night

There has been another carry over in the jackpot for the multistate Mega Millions game - to $420,000,000. The cash value stands at a projected $$191.7 million up for grab. The jackpot grew because nobody hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number from Friday night's $387,000,000 drawing. The numbers from Friday, November 15th, 2024 drawing were 05-17-35-55-69 and the Mega Ball was 19, Megaplier was 2.

Even though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There were 2 lucky players that matched all five white ball numbers and won the second prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) purchased in MO,NY, each won $250,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Additional prizes won Friday evening included 17 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional winners Friday evening included 369 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $150. 904 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.

With nine prize levels, there were a total of 1,390,148 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, November 15th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions game is played in 43 states and D.C. Around 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back for the players through prize winnings. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Mega Millions lottery uses a 5/75+1/46 matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The odds of winning any prizes are about 1 to 14. The odds of winning Mega Millions jackpot are about 1 in 258 million. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is $12,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 26 equal yearly payments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout option instead.
