Saturday's Powerball jackpot moves to $164,000,000; 1 ticket won the second prize

With no winner in the last draw, the Powerball game jackpot will be worth a projected $164,000,000 (cash option $$78.8 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Saturday. The amount rolled over because no one matched all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $145,000,000 jackpot Wednesday night. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, January 24th, 2024 were 01, 05, 32, 50, 64 with Power Ball number 08.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There was a sole lucky winner correctly matched the first five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in Wisconsin won $1,000,000 cash.
Also, 10 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 2 additional players not only matched 4+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 147 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 62 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 456 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 160 additional players not just matched 3+1, and also bought the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
