Powerball jackpot jumps to $50,000,000; 1 ticket won the second prize

The Powerball multi-state lottery grand prize rolled up to $50,000,000 (cash option $$23 million) Saturday night when there were no top prize winners in the $33,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, September 10th, 2025 were 02-24-45-53-64 and Powerball number was 05.
Though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a sole second prize winning ticket from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching all 5 lotto numbers except the Powerball number. The 1 second prize ticket(s) from WA matched all 5 white ball numbers and also chose Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2 million cash win!
In addition, 10 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 5 additional players not only matched 4+1, but also bought the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
With 9 prize tiers, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 441,279 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
